Wine Critics Notes:
Allen Meadows - Score: 90(2021 January)
A more elegant nose displays spicier and slightly cooler aromas of essence of red and dark raspberry, cassis and plenty of floral elements. The caressing and seductively textured middle weight flavors also culminate in a dusty and long if slightly warm and youthfully austere finish where a hint of bitter cherry pit character eventually emerges. This needs to develop more depth though given the density of material, it may well do that and if so, my rating may be a touch too conservative.
